Assistive Technology for Kansans (ATK)

ATK is a Kansas statewide assistive technology program to help improve access to acquisition of assistive technology (AT) for individuals with disabilities and health conditions of all ages. Services include device demonstration, short-term equipment loan, AT reuse, and determination of funding eligibility for new and used devices.

iCanConnect – Kansas Deaf-Blind Equipment Distribution Project

Kansans with a combined hearing and vision loss can receive telecommunications tools and the training to use them through iCanConnect, part of ATK.

Kansas Telecommunications Access Program (KS TAP)

The Kansas Telecommunications Access Program (TAP) is an equipment distribution program. The purpose of the program is to provide specialized telephones and other telecommunications devices to Kansans with disabilities who can’t use traditional home telephones.

Blinded Veterans Association of the Heartland

Regional group of the Blinded Veterans Association serving blinded veterans residing in Kansas and Missouri. Works to ensure visually impaired veterans possess a peer support network and quality healthcare services at local Department of Veterans Affairs medical centers.
